We've previously discussed the need to pray over our businesses. As business owners, we should regularly lift our endeavors up before the Lord for His blessing and guidance. Similarly, we've learned that our businesses should give God glory and therefore, we should regularly pray that such be the case.
How many of us, however, have made it a habit to regularly ask God to send us customers?
I confess I only started lifting up that specific prayer point in the last month. Yet, I've been amazed at the results. Since the first time I made that petition, I've had great responses to my soft advertising attempts as well as an increase in friends recommending my businesses to others.
As a result, I am now convinced that I must ask the Lord to miraculously send business my way. God is our biggest advertising specialist. With Him, there is no need to pay for marketers and the like. Certainly, there's nothing wrong with marketing ordinarily. However, with God's hand on a business, there's no marketing budget big enough to accomplish what He can do in an instant.
I pray that as you pray over your business and wonder how to attract more customers, you will actually go to the greatest marketer ever, God. Call on Him to bring eyeballs to your product. Ask Him to open wallets so that your products sell out. Pray that God will miraculously bring clients who will be loyal, unproblematic, and compassionate.
