The Bible is rife with examples of bad leaders. King Saul's bad choices brought a curse upon the land that only ended when the blood of his heirs was spilled in recompense. Then there was the Pharaoh who chased the Israelites into the Red Sea (what a bad move to think God doesn't see, huh?). He and his army were swept away by the sea.
In addition to the stories of such individuals, the Bible also provides poignant scripture filled with wisdom about good and bad leadership. Although the following focus on political leaders, they provide some insight on how bad bosses behave in business and/or the workplace.
Proverbs 28:15 - Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a helpless people.
Proverbs 28:16 - A tyrannical ruler practices extortion, but one who hates ill-gotten gain will enjoy a long reign.
Both verses highlight oppressive leaders. How many of us have encountered these types? It is crucial to not become like them. Godly leaders should not use their power and position to domineer others because the Royal Law requires all Christian believers to treat people as they would like to be treated - with love. They must remember they are subject to the Lord and treat others - including their underlings - with respect.
Let's be honest. In order to avoid becoming a bad leader, a believing entrepreneur needs God. Knowing Him, honoring Him, and obeying Him are crucial to keep from bad practices. Nevertheless, I pray the scripture shared will act as a guide for all of us as we take a good look at ourselves and aim to be anything but bad leaders in the sight of the Lord.
Father, thank You for being the God who wants His children to be successful in the things they do. We praise You for being interested in our affairs even though You are the Creator of the Universe. Lord, help us to avoid the bad practices that take us out of Your blessings in our roles as employees and business owners. Take all the glory, IJMN, Amen.

Amen! Yes, May God guide us with His wisdom in how we interact with others - even when they are try our patience lol
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
I haven’t experienced a tyrannical boss thank You God, but many of my nearest and dearest have and they have shared testimonies about how applying the Royal Law in the workplace has worked in disarming even the most ornery or difficult boss/colleague.
