Do you remember the story of the woman with the issue of blood? It is a classic example of how faith works to produce results in the lives of believers. The woman in question had been bleeding for years and per the Laws of Moses, she was meant to stay indoors. Women were deemed unclean during their menstruation. Since she bled almost all the time, one can only imagine the reclusive life she led.
However, she heard Jesus was around and dared to break the Laws of Moses to obtain her healing. Although a crowd had gathered around Him, she pushed through each person, finally making her way to Him. She took hold of His garment and Jesus stopped in His tracks.
Luke 8:45-46 - “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. Everyone denied it, and Peter said, “Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me.” (NLT)
And the woman had to confess that she'd been the one to touch the hem of His garment. She also confessed why she did it and that she'd been instantly healed. Luke 8:48 - “Daughter,” he said to her, “your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

Imagine if this woman had stayed in whatever room she'd spent most of her life bleeding in. Imagine if she had ignored that the potential source of her healing was nearby and stayed put. Imagine, if she'd been too embarrassed to push through the crowd to obtain the deliverance that is the children's bread.
She would have continued to bleed to death. A death by embarrassment despite healing being within reach.
There are others in the Bible who put their dignity aside in the presence of God. King David danced in worship with barely any clothing (2 Samuel 6:14). Zaccheus climbed a tree to see and be seen by the Savior (Luke 19). A blind man shouted, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” when others told him to be quiet (Luke 18:39). The Centurion and Jairus ignored their positions to get Jesus to bring healing to those they cared for.
May we not allow 'embarrassment' to deprive us of the blessings and privileges that are ours as the children of God. May we cry out to Jesus, the Deliverer, and chase Him down. I pray that we will ignore what others will say or think regarding our dealings with Jesus. May we never be ashamed to do whatever it takes to touch the hem of His garment and receive what is ours through Him, IJMN Amen.

ALTAR CALL
We need to be like the woman with the issue of blood and move in great faith. That faith needs to be in Jesus and His capacity to bring the solutions to the problems we are facing.
The first step in walking in this faith is to understand who Jesus is and what He did for all of humanity. You might think you understand but it is highly likely there are gaps in your knowledge. I was raised a Christian my whole life and was surprised to learn what I didn't know.
For instance, I had no clue that simply being a Christian wasn't enough to make it to heaven. I didn't understand until much later that I needed to give my life to Jesus Christ. The video below explains the significance of this and how to submit to Jesus so you receive God's Spirit.
If you watched the video to the end and say that prayer, then welcome to being a child of God! I pray you receive the Holy Spirit and are led in the ways of the Lord. Be sure to let me know you said the prayer and I'll send you more materials so you can grow as a new creature! Congrats and God bless you!
