Wisdom. It is a crucial element to the believers' walk with the Lord. We are told in Ecclesiastes 7:12 that wisdom can save a person's life.
Thus, it is no surprise that God wants His people to operate in wisdom. The Bible states in Proverbs 3:18 that those who have wisdom are blessed. In Proverbs 8:35, we are encouraged to seek out wisdom because those who have it will also obtain the favor of the Lord.
Keeping in mind that we are to be wise, let us then consider Matthew 7:24 - “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
It is therefore a wise person who will apply the instructions of Christ in their life. Doing so ensures a solid foundation that will not be washed away by the floods of life or swept away by the stormy winds seeking to huff, puff, and tear down.
Instead, the one who stands upon the solid Rock by observing Christ's instructions will be blessed, receiving the favor and success of God in all they do (Psalm 1:1-3).
And what has Christ called believers to do? The first directive is in Mark 12:30 - Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second directive calls the faithful to apply the Royal Law and thereby ‘Love your neighbor as yourself' (Mark 12:31).
Like everything Christians have been commanded to do, they need to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to live lives worthy of God. It is the Holy Spirit's job to remind believers of what Christ taught so they put those teachings into effect every day of their lives. And this is why it is so important to desire and receive the Holy Spirit, for Jesus promised to give every believer a deposit of God's Spirit. His job is to get the redeemed to heaven and as long as they submit to His guidance, they make it.
Finally, be aware of 2 Thessalonians 1:8 and its stern warning - those who do not know God and those who do not obey Jesus will be punished. Nobody wants to think about punishment but the reality is that a day of judgment is coming. Now is the time to know God and walk with His Spirit, obeying Jesus. Doing so as each day passes until when our eyes shut to this reality to open to eternal life with the Heavenly Father and the rest of His Holy family.

LAST 10 MINUTES
Today, we learned about the wisdom of obeying Christ's instructions and how this behavior blesses us.
There are times when our flesh rises and we get naughty. In those moments, We want to do what we want to do instead of what Christ has called us to do.
Let us pray for grace to always follow the instructions laid out for us by our Savior.
Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for our sakes. Thank You for coming to this earth to teach us how to live lives that are fully reconciled to God. Jesus, please help me to always keep my focus on Your word so that I may do what You have instructed and not submit to the desires of my flesh. Please grant me the grace to be more obedient to God and to walk in the wisdom that He alone provides. Also, please help those who are yet to know God that they come to meet You as I know You will not leave them without introducing them to the Heavenly Father. Thank You for hearing and answering this prayer, Amen.

I also place waiting mothers before You. Some may call them barren, but You are the Lord who told Abraham in Genesis 22:17 - I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies...
You are also the God who settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD (Psalm 113:9).
Bring forth this promise You gave to Abraham in the lives of families everywhere. Those who look to You, Lord, please do not delay in answering their prayers for You also promised in Ezekiel 12:28 - "Therefore say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"
We look forward to hearing even more testimony of miraculous pregnancies and safe deliveries so Your children - the heirs - will raise Godly offspring per Your instruction in Malachi 2:15.

Lord God! Father we call upon You for healing of the land. You tell us in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Please Lord, bring peace to the places where Your children dwell. You've said You will bless wherever Your servants place their feet and will be with them just as You were with Moses (Joshua 1:3).
Father, see Your servants supplicating for the land upon which their feet rest. Bring about Your mercy that it overflow. Hear our humble prayer, IJMN, Amen.

Abba, please hear the cries of your children who remain in a season of waiting and are growing hopeless and weary.
Please help them to remain faithful and patient and trust Your timing in all things. Help them to remain faithful in the wilderness of waiting and keep their eyes fixed upon the things of Heaven. Reassure them that no matter their current circumstances Your children are secured and covered by Your wings.
Remind them You are not deaf to their cries and that You are working everything together for Your glory and their good. Cast out the spirit of fear and doubt that consumes them, and fill their hearts with Your transcending peace, supernatural strength, and gospel joy by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Please support pastors/counselors, firefighters, paramedics, nurses, police officers, teachers -- anyone who is under a lot of pressure but needs to act fast in emergencies and make the right choice because lives depend on them. Amen Amen! Thank you Sis, for this great lesson today. The Lord has also been teaching me that obedience is the path to wisdom. I recently read Deuteronomy and in chap 4:5-7 Moses tries to explain to the Israelites this same thing. Praise God for confirmation!

Father, thank You so much for the woman who gave up a kidney for a little boy she didn't even know. Lord, I pray for her that as she has given of herself to save the life of this little boy, You will have mercy upon her and bless her.
