Every child of God wears a crown of glory. This is because once an individual chooses to submit to the authority of Jesus and His Father, they become a part of the Kingdom of God.
Members of this kingdom instantly become royalty. All of heaven rejoices over them (Luke 15:7). They stand as the daughters and sons of the King of kings. It is therefore their rightful inheritance to receive and wear the crowns their Father has given them. But they are even more than that because they serve as the very representation of His kingdom and power in the earth. Isaiah 62:3 tells us, "You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the LORD, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God" (NKJV).
We learn in Romans 8:30 - and those whom He has pre-destined He also has called; and those whom He has called He has also declared free from guilt; and those whom He has declared free from guilt He has also crowned with glory (WNT). For those who are walking through the grace of Jesus Christ in the Spirit of God, a crown of glory rests upon their heads. God wants these individuals to walk in the authority they have as His royal priesthood who put His plans and His word into effect (1 Peter 2:9).
That the children of God wear a crown of glory shouldn't be a surprise. After all, Jesus received a crown of glory per Hebrews 2:9 and we know that He shares all that God gave Him with all who will inherit heaven (John 16:13,15). Alas, most believers do not realize that they carry a crown of glory upon their heads. But you know who is fully aware of this fact? The devil and it strives to steal that crown or cause the wearer to put it down so it can be taken. If God's children don't understand their position and the priceless headgear they carry, they are liable to be irresponsible with it. That way, they will lose out on the value it presents in their lives and the lives of others.

When Job was struggling, he said in Job 19:9 - He has stripped me of my glory and taken the crown from my head (NKJV). He spoke of God there and given what we know of Job's story, he was right that God was involved. However, the reason why that crown of glory was temporarily stripped was because of satan and its evil plot to destroy him. Praise God that the Almighty's plan was one of victory for Job and great defeat for satan. The devil soon discovered that it gained nothing for troubling the Lord's servant.
It is important to note that a child of God can be stripped of their crown by the One who placed it upon their head. In such cases, the primary reason for this is the consistent failure to obey God and serve only Him. This was the case for the Israelites of old who worshiped false gods and bowed to foreign idols. God patiently beckoned them back to Him for a combined 430 years but at the end of that period, a Vashti Line was crossed. Those who had been chosen by Him for sonship became the captives of other nations and their gods.
Nevertheless, their crown of glory was restored after they returned to God in faithful service. They were restored to the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And that is the case for anyone who may believe that somewhere along the line, their crown of glory slipped off their head, was stripped from them, or was stolen. God desires to restore the designation of royalty to all who want it. All He requires is the confession of sins and true repentance which comes with allowing the Holy Spirit to lead the individual into living in obedience. Then, they will experience the fullness of life plus eternity in heaven.
Where's your crown? If it's not where it should be, today is the day to pray for restoration. If it is firmly in place, today is the day to thank the Lord for this grace. The crown of glory is the inheritance of God's children. And if we submit to Him, He will ensure its security as we navigate this world to go live with Him in His Kingdom. God bless you and see you at Noon EST for fellowship.
CLOSING PRAYER
Hallelujah to the Lord Most High! Another Tuesday of fellowship has come to a beautiful end. Thank You, Heavenly Father, for pouring out Your compassion and grace, whereby we could gather to lift up Your name and pray for others. God, we look forward to hearing reports and testimonies from our prayer subjects that glorify You for answered prayers.
We praise You, Sovereign Lord, for all that You are and will forever be. Thank You for being our great and mighty God!
LAST 10 MINUTES
I repeat the main question from today's message - Where is your crown?
As children of God, we need to recognize that our spiritual attire is a reflection of who we belong to. Our attire speaks to His might and power, as well as the fact that we are His tools in the earth for His purpose.
The devil is intent on having every believer look the way High Priest Joshua appeared per the description in Zechariah 3:1-5. He was said to be wearing filthy garments and God had to strip him of these items and replace them with clean finery and a turban which reflected his position as royalty.
None of this could have been seen with the naked eye. It took God giving Prophet Zechariah a vision for him - and by extension, us - to see that such was possible.
God wants to remove every filthy thing we are wearing and replace them with clothing that reflects our position in His kingdom and how important we are to Him. He wants us to stand confident and assured with our crown of glory upon our heads. And as we submit to His leading more and more, the crown rests secure and we are cleansed for God's glory.
Let us pray,
Dear Lord, thank You for looking at me and thinking of me as Your precious child. A child that You want to reflect Your royal household. I am so happy to be called Your own. I place myself before You today and call on You. I want my crown of glory to rest securely upon my head. And so, I submit it to You, the God who watches over everything and everyone He loves. I lay my crown down in worship. Thank You God because I know it is safest that way and You, in Your loving kindness, place it right back upon my head. IJMN, I pray and say, Amen.
From JIR - I pray for those involved in yesterday’s plane crash to fully recover from the injuries and trauma they sustained. I thank You Lord that You shielded, protected and kept them safe as no lives were lost. Thank You Lord! I pray that there are new laws and regulations set in place to prevent any further mishaps in the aviation industry. I pray that You bless every worker who is a part of the aviation sector with the knowledge, wisdom and strength needed to implement preventative measures in the future. Please protect us all Lord, only You can help us. IJMN. Amen.
Glorious God. Thank You for the opportunity to gather in Your presence today. Thank You for being the God who made this possible.
John 17:20-21 teaches us, My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
Then Jesus went on to state, I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me (John 17:23).
Heavenly Father, our Savior prayed that believers would be united in a way that reflects His relationship with You and that such unity will ensure communion with Yourself and Him.
God, the Body of Christ needs more of this unity. It needs to move under the authority of Your Spirit to display such unity and achieve Jesus's prayer that the world would know that You sent Him.
Lord, increase our connection to each other and our collective connection to Yourself and Your Son. For then, Your manifold wisdom will be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, IJMN, Amen.
Deuteronomy 8:17-18 - You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
Sovereign Lord, the word tells us that You give good and perfect gifts (James 1:17). We call on You to hear our prayers for those in search of employment opportunities. As You are He who gives the ability to create finances and other forms of wealth, we lift these children of Yours in Your presence that You will shift the atmosphere around them. Help them whereby they will receive Your favor and therefore favor from man. Let the hearts of decision makers favor Your chosen ones and let Your children honor You. That we shall stand with them giving praise when they come back to testify to Your glory and the world will know that You are God all by Yourself, IJMN, Amen.
From AW - Good morning/afternoon Peppers!
Thank You Father God for allowing me to live another year surrounded by amazing family and friends! I'm so grateful.
Thank You for my healthy body.
Thank You for grace and mercy.
Thank You for providing for my family and me, even during these tumultuous times. Even though there is so much chaos in this country, I will never forget You are still in CONTROL.
Glory be to You Heavenly Father. You are He who created all things and with just a word the world came to be.
Lord, we call on You to once again speak a word for those who are waiting on You for their marital destiny. Lord, guide Your children into Your marital will and purpose for their lives. Father shield them from the counterfeits. I decree that every counterfeit will be blinded just as the Aramean army was blinded when they came looking to attack Prophet Elisha (2 Kings 6).
God, with a word, direct and position Your children for Your perfect will for them (Romans 12:2). That they will join with equally yoked and holy spouses, birth and raise godly offspring, and serve in the ministry of marriage for Your glory and by Your grace, IJMN, Amen.
PRAYER TIME
It's time to war with prayers for others.

PRAISE TIME
You know what time it is!
PRAISE THE LORD!!!
From JIR - Thank You Lord for Your grace and mercy. You have blessed us with another day and we do not take it for granted. We praise Your name and worship You. It is not by chance that we are in P&P fellowship today. We are grateful for Your guidance and love for us all, which we can’t express enough. Thank You Lord for all that You have done, do and will do. All glory is Yours. IJMN. Amen.
Thanks for today’s message sis, @FFJ. I am still a baby in Christ so this is all new to me. I have heard a couple of people talk about the crown of glory and have read the verses on it but it didn’t quite click with me at the time that it is something that all of God’s children wear. Wow! God is beyond amazing. His love for us goes beyond what we can comprehend. We are dust yet he has adopted us into His Kingdom as His children and as if that wasn’t enough He has given us all crowns of glory. I am undeserving and feel unworthy. I also feel like this love He has for us all is a love that we humans on earth can’t completely grasp because it is so much. I am just so taken aback by His love for us. Thank You Lord for how invested You are in us. I do not understand why You cherish us so much but I do not take it for granted and I thank You. IJMN. Amen.
I pray that today’s fellowship is a blessing for all. I will try to be back to praise God and pray for others in P&P fellowship, but my day is so busy today with work I may not be able to. May today’s word be edifying to you all. God bless you all. IJMN. Amen.
From EC - Amen and good morning ladies!
Give God His praises. Worship His Holy Name because He is great and greatly to be praised.
I pray you will come to fellowship with your mouth filled with thanks for the Lord.
God bless you
ALTAR CALL
I usually share a written message at this point, but I saw this video recently and thought it might be better for you to watch this. It explains why and how to submit to Jesus Christ and become a member of God's royal family.
God bless you.
