Being Tested - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) September 29, 2020

Do you feel like you're being tested these days? Feel like you're holding onto your faith the way people cling to mountainsides in movies? Fingers clawing into the rock and dirt?

You're being tested.

You're probably asking, "Why me?"

It is so Isaiah 48:10 can be fulfilled in your life - See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

Still not convinced? Look at Hebrews 12:7 - Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as His children. For what children are not disciplined by their father.

Yes, things are tough and you think you should be further along in your faith, in your career, in the status of your relationship...whatever it is, know that the Lord is strengthening you through these experiences. He's still there by your side, hearing as you cry out to Him. He wants to give you all you want but He's going to do it at the perfect time so as to perfect yourself and your circumstances to His glory.

So, let us remember Hebrews 10:23 which teaches - Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess for He who promised is faithful. (BSB)

Let's take an hour at noon EST today to honor the Lord in the midst of our waiting. We are going to pass this test and make it to the next level of our spiritual growth. And you know that'll influence your life positively.

Today is Praise & Pray day folks! We'll thank the Lord for what He's done and is doing, then we'll glorify Him by putting our needs to the side to act as intercessors for others. Today will be a day of God's miracles and wonders!
