Rely on God - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) March 9, 2021

Rely on God. He is strong enough to do everything you need and want. He is powerful enough to overcome every challenge on your behalf.

Do you rely on God? Do you know how?

Often, we think we need to be smarter, prettier, faster, shrewder. All of that is a lie from the devil. You can sit in one place and the world will come to you on a platter if you believe in God and rely on Him to give what is best for you.

And that's the hard part. We don't know how to just sit still and let God be God (Psalm 37:7). We want to do something...anything. We can't just...wait for Him to do what He wants to do for us.

However, God's word is clear in Zechariah 4:6 - So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

It is not by your power or by your might but by the Spirit of the Living God that things will happen in your life if you cede authority to Him. If you surrender your desires and your will to Him, He'll sweep in and get things done for you.

Isaiah 41:10 - So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

He is the God who is mighty to save (Zephaniah 3:17) so submit your desires, needs, and wants to Him.
