The Most Valuable Gift - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) March 2, 2021

The most valuable gift from God is wisdom.​

It is wisdom that leads to the fruitfulness you need for a full life. Seek God's wisdom by reading the Bible. After all, people seek all forms of knowledge from books on many subjects but it is only God's word that will help us weave through the stiff fabric of life.

And when you finally witness the blessing of God's fullness, don't forget to praise God. Don't forget to be grateful. Don't make the mistake of looking at your 'kingdom' and praising yourself like Nebuchadnezzar did. He ended up living like a wild animal until he acknowledged God (Daniel 4).

In fact, follow Abraham's example of praising and believing God for His fruitfulness in advance. That is true wisdom. He was told by the Lord that his offspring would be kings and queens, that they would be as plenty as the stars in the sky (Genesis 15). He was 100 when he had the son God promised and could never have imagined that one child - Isaac - would be the fulfillment of such a grand promise. And yet, two short generations later, the nation of Israel and its twelve tribes came to be.

Hosea 6:3 - Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."

Hosea 4:6 - my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

James 1:5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
